Laura Eerkes was involved with Young Life as a teenager, and always had a heart and interest in children. Her outgoing nature and community spirit is what family and friends fondly remember about her, and why many guests rearrange their schedules to attend and support this event year after year.

The 10th Annual Eerkes Memorial Golf Classic for Kids Tournament is on August 12th and 13th. The weekend will begin with an incredible Bonefish Grill dinner on Friday night in the Lampson International airplane hangar at the Tri-Cities Airport. A live auction will follow, featuring signed sports memorabilia, event packages, weekend getaways and other great items. We’ll wrap up your evening with great music, dancing and entertainment.

A terrific day of golf will begin on Saturday, August 13th at Canyon Lakes Golf Course, with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Take your best shot at fabulous Hole-in-One prizes and enjoy an awards ceremony and dinner following the tournament. Unique to our tournament, players will receive a $100 voucher to redeem for any golf merchandise provided by our onsite vendor—so arrive early to “shop” before you tee off!

The best part is, you’ll have a great time and benefit Tri-Cities youth! Proceeds from the Eerkes Memorial Golf Classic for Kids dinner and auction will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Benton and Franklin Counties and Young Life.
